Tilda & Mittens Christmas Cards

Hello lovely peeps,
I have 3 Christmas cards to share today, and first up believe it or not is the only Tilda I've coloured from this years Winter Wonderland collection, so far anyway.
I'm going to attempt to whizz through my post as the colouring urge is here and I want to catch it and keep it lol :)
I have used Pion papers on this card and the cute little cherub is from Live & Love Crafts. Of course my favourite Kate snowflakes from Simon Says Stamp are on this card, I may have mentioned once or twice that I love these lol.
I've been busy making some more pins for my little Etsy shop which I will add later, and they are different than usual, some look like little angels as in the piccy above and the others I will share soon :)
Next up I have created two cards with Simon Says Stamps gorgeous December "Warm Holiday Wishes" card kit, & oh my goodness how cute are those little mittens and those dinky little sequins.

Thanks so much for my kit Heidi xx
I came up with these two cards, nice and flat for posting and they are so pretty and sparkly.
That's me finished for today peeps, sorry it's a quick post, I will pop back and add copic colours for those wanting them.
Have a lovely weekend & thanks for stopping by

Countdown To Christmas - Simon Says Stamp DT

Hello lovely peeps,
I've had a few quiet days as I'm suffering from the usual Winter germs that get shared around so I will get straight down to business :)

On to today's project -

for
& this week our challenge is
ANYTHING GOES

My lovely teamies & I are featuring TIM HOLTZ products this week, if you have them we'd love to see them but as always it's not compulsory to enter our challenge.
This week I have a Christmas countdown to share instead of a card as my achey little body couldn't cope with sitting at my desk & finishing my DT card and this little project was all finished just waiting to be blogged :)
I wanted to create a countdown that I would be happy to keep on the wall all year round if I wanted to and one that would look better in keeping with my home than any I've seen in the shops.
I started with an old photo frame & several of Simon Says Stamps exclusive products which are all linked at the end of my post :)
I don't often explain how I create items & answer individual emails when people ask questions, but today I thought I would explain properly & also save you doing the maths or emailing to ask me if you want to create a similar countdown :)

First I removed the glass and covered the inside with a piece of Simon Says Stamp's lovely Woodgrain cardstock. I then die cut four different shaped Simon snowflakes and added lots of pretty sparkle to them before randomly adhering to the Woodgrain cardstock. I then screwed into place three tiny hooks which you can get in any hardware shop.
I die cut a total of 26 of Simon's tags & outlined them with a white gel pen, & die cut three each of the Tim Holtz Vintage Market numbers 1,2 & 3, & two each of the numbers 4,5,6,7,8,9 & 0. I also die cut three extra small snowflakes as when the amount of sleeps left is less than 100 as it is today, I can hang a snowflake instead of a number and the same also when the total sleeps left is less than ten, and Christmas Day itself will have three snowflakes instead of numbers.
You could die cut less tags if you wish and adhere numbers to both sides but rather than working out which numbers I would need to stick on each side to have enough I just went with the 26 tags.
I hope all that makes sense :)
For the text I wanted to use the lovely wooden scrabble tiles and was just about to stick them down when I decided to add some extra dimension to the tiles & flipped them over to use the blank side and coloured some wooden Studio Calico letters with a white gel pen & sparkled them before adhering them on the tiles.

Sketch Time - Simon Says Stamp DT

Hello lovely peeps,
A day of Christmas shopping didn't help much with finding my Christmas spirit and the John Lewis Christmas display left me feeling really peculiar!
From a distance it looked lovely with lots of hanging 3D Christmas trees & baubles etc dangling right down through the centre of the store, & I looked over the banister from the upper floor to see if they went all the way down and OMG my eyes went all weird as if everything went a bit woozy & I had this horrible knot in my stomach so I stepped back quick & tried to refocus! Thinking that was really odd I stupidly had another look to see if it happened again, & it did make me feel the same again! I then told my friend Sophie to look over the banister saying it made me feel "weird" and I really stupidly looked over it again with her, will I never learn lol. As Soph felt the same we found our friend Zoe and get her to peek over the banister, only this time I was determined not to look & I actually resisted lol, and you guessed it Zoe felt the same!
Very bizarre!!!
